Geometry Definition If you create a regular line geometry with LINE using one LOCN and the REPEAT option and later try and update the line co-ordinates using only the LOCN option the geometry will not be updated unless you have removed the BINARY file line.TEXT.REGULAR STATION in the database using sdbutl. Same applies to the CDP definition. 3D Geometry Definition using FFID (Field File ID Number System) If you are attempting to use the FFID option then make sure that your receiver lines are all the same length. This option will fail if you have an irregular shaped survey - it has to be rectangular - so padd stations or you will get incorrect pattern definitions when your shot locations hit the irregular part of the survey. Its possible to get around the above problem if the patterns are redefined when the receiver line changes.
