News and Links

We are located in Edinburgh where we have upgraded our systems to improve the quality and turnaround of seismic data processing and imaging projects.

Focus 2-D 3-D Processing license now available for lease.

October 2006

200Km2 3-D marine North Sea project completed

August 2006

700Km 2-D demultiple and horizon consistent velocity control

March 2006

3 back-to-back site surveys were processed with rapid turnaround to meet Client's deadlines.

Reprocessing of 400Km of land transition zone data originally acquired for and "processed" by Shell.

Post stack depth migration study in area of rugged topography.

75Km2 Marine 3-D AVO study.

February 2006

100Km2 3-D Indonesian land survey reprocessing from field data.

100Km 2-D deep water marine SRME Project completed

November 2005

50Km2 marine 3-D survey reprocessed from field tapes through a heavy sequence including shot domain tau-p deconvolution through to 3-D PSTM in six week turnaround.

July 2005

Automated SEG "Y" compression package to enable all SEG "Y" files to be compressed in a specified directory. Available on DOS and Solaris

June 2005

Baltic Sea PSTM reprocessing project completed

March 2005

Joint 2-D finite difference and Osiris modeling project North Sea

August 2004

CGS and Odegaard awarded 300Km2 3-D AVO inversion project from North Sea

March 2003

CGS and Odegaard awarded seismic reprocessing and inversion project from the Celtic Sea.

April 2003:

CGS Awarded 22Km2 Land 3-D survey.  Final 3-D PSTM with and without Radon Demultiple completed early June 2003.

December 2002:

CGS Awarded 100Km2 complex transition zone 3-D survey. Previous PSTM work in this area has resulted in better target imaging. Final PSTM nears completion.

CGS and Odegaard have recently completed merging 2700km2 of 3-D seismic surveys of various vintages recorded in the North Sea. It is vital that well control is embedded in the processing sequence to ensure correct phase matching between seismic vintages.
